Hope Recovery Resources/Hope Homes is accepting applications for an addictions counselor/recovery coach for our Charlotte, NC Men’s and Women’s Communities. Hope Recovery Resources provides long-term, extended care recovery residences and professional continuing care services to adult men and women in recovery from addiction, emotional, and eating disorders. HOPE Recovery is a continuing care community whose mission is to help adult men and women incorporate healthy living skills into daily life to achieve sustained recovery and fulfilling lives. We serve a wide demographic range of individuals and can address most behavioral health issues, to include substance use disorders, mental health, and eating disorders. The evolution of Hope Homes as a part of HOPE Recovery Resources reflects our growth and evolution as an organization. HOPE remains the core value and guiding principle in all we do and is reflected in our new logo.
Anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, personality disorders and other mental health problems can be rather serious on a person’s life if it is not given the attention it needs. Progressive Recovery Resources, consists of highly trained professionals who have specialized in HIV/AIDS case management, home based social work, substance abuse counseling and mental health. We pride ourselves on being compassionate and supportive to all individuals we work with. The successful candidate will have a passion for working with adults in recovery from an addictive, emotional, or eating disorder. S/he must have excellent communication and organizational skills; a strong work ethic; and a professional demeanor. If recovering from substance use disorder, applicants must have 2 years of demonstrated recovery.
Recovery Residence vs. Halfway House
The centerpiece is a 52,000 square foot building that was renovated and designed by Perkins + Will, an architecture firm specializing in behavioral health and designing therapeutic environments. "Because of HopeWay, I plan on going back to school, getting a job… Just living my life." HOPE Recovery has operated a men’s and women’s community in Charlotte, NC since 2010. We have a professional team available full-time that is certified, licensed and professionally trained by the National Alliance for Recovery Residences. There are several group counseling and individual counseling sessions we have available so everyone who comes into our Home is getting the attention they need.
Charlotte is the largest city in North Carolina and the 17th largest in the nation. It has been named “Tree City USA” by the National Arbor Day Foundation for the last 31 years! Charlotte has a large recovery community, with a variety of self-help meetings offered throughout the day on every day of the week. PRR Charlotte will provide the best services possible and modify our services to fit the clients needs. Our men’s and women’s communities are in separate locations in each city and never interact. HopeWay is located at 1717 Sharon Road West in southwest Charlotte on a 20-acre wooded campus.

HopeWay is an accredited nonprofit mental health treatment facility in Charlotte, NC that provides best practice behavioral health care and education for adults and their families. A primary counselor will be assigned to each person who stays with us, and all of our life skills counselors are available 24/7 and on-site. We build meaningful, trusting relationships with our patients because we care about the issues we go through.
